I want to live my life in such a way that when I get out of bed in the morning, the devil says, "aw shit, he's up!”.
This is our philosophy here at Carpe Diem!
Your day starts with the morning. Mornings are the fuel for the rest of the day. The process of seizing the day definitely starts with the morning.
Morning should be motivating, so motivating that even the devil fears your enthusiasm for the day and gets the hell out of your way.
In his book 12 Rules of Life (it is a must-read!), Jordan Peterson cannot emphasize more on having a system set in place for your day.
The Perfect Morning Routine
What will be a perfect morning routine?
As we shortly discussed before, it should be motivating.
It should boost your confidence so that you can have the day at your beck and call.
But how?
We need to put together some activities that boost our confidence and motivation for the day.
Let’s go then.
Wakey, wakey time
The most important thing is this: When do you wake up?
It needs to be the same damn time, no matter what.
I cannot emphasize more upon it.
If your wake-up time erratic, today at 8 a.m., yesterday at 5 a.m. or you pulled an all-nighter.
Now, I won’t be a hardass but because of some emergency, you can skip a day like when you had to pull that all-nighter.
But, return back to the routine of waking up at the same time just like you would always and always return to your home no matter how hard the day.
Let’s stop there.
With another awesome morning will come the next thing.
